1 zip code in Manor, TX
Manor was named after James B. Manor, a Tennessee transplant and close friend to Sam Houston. By the mid 1800's, Manor, Texas was attracting a distinguished group of settlers to include lawyers, professors, statesmen and all who desired the sheltered lifestyle of this Austin-based community.
Today, residents are still enjoying their tranquil surroundings with an abundance of park and outdoor recreation to include the Jennie Lane Park and the bustling Manor Farmer's Market. Homes and land are still available from simple country dwellings to soaring architectural feats. Despite the city of Manor's narrow borders, there are land acquisition opportunities for the lucky few who wish to pursue a purchase in the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area, or you may consider a home purchase with some of the region's most competitive prices.
